This lovely variety is a vigorous and showy climber, producing masses of pure white flowers with a yellowish shading in the throat. Fast growing and can quickly grow to 12', great for quick covers for fences, trellises or as a groundcover. This heirloom variety is great in full to partial sun, and can stand some cooler weather. Morning Glories are splendid for covering up eyesores.
The vines grow quickly to 10 feet or more only two months after seeds sprout! Provide supports for it to grow on, as these plants will want to climb. Flowers bloom all summer! Will grow in all but the worst conditions. Blooms about 6 weeks after germination. Soak seeds 24 hours in water first for a smooth germination. This plant is a Perennial, but functions as an annual in colder climates.
Start seed indoors 4-5 weeks before last frost in pots, or sow directly into the garden after danger of serious frost has passed. Cover seeds with 1/4 inch of fine soil. 5 to 7 day germination time. Keep soil moderately moist during germination (not soggy). Transplant indoor started seedlings after hardening off and danger of serious frost has passed. Space plants at least 1 foot apart. Hardy in zones 5-9.
